Welcome to my page! My name is Cindy Zander and I teach Special Education for students with Developmental Cognitive Delays (DCD). I'm excited to be a part of the Barnesville School District, especially at the high school level. I love preparing my students for life after high school. I have a job that I absolutely LOVE!
I grew up and graduated from Hawley, MN. I then set off on my own to achieve my goal of becoming a teacher. During college, I worked with a variety of people, ages, and disabilities to help them achieve their goal of becoming as independent as possible through MCRS Inc. I graduated in 2005 from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a Special Education-DCD degree.
When I'm not in the classroom, I love spending time with my family. My husband and I bought a house in Barnesville 6 years ago. We have 2 beautiful daughters, Alexis(4) and Brynn(1) that keep us super busy, but I love every minute of it! Oh, I can't forget about our 6 year old golden retriever named Molly. I also love to be creative and scrapbook! My other love is running. I have been a runner for most of my life. I put on the Ipod and my asics and I hit the pavement for miles and miles!
