• My name is Megan Askegaard and I am a 2002 graduate of Barnesville High School. I went to college at Concordia College in Moorhead where I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education in 2006. I started working at Atkinson Elementary School in the fall of 2006 teaching part-time second grade, title one, and gifted and talented. In 2007, I was hired as a full-time 5th grade teacher. In the summer of 2010 I received my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Kate's University. I also am currently the varsity volleyball coach. My husband and I live in rural Barnesville with our son Carter, and two labs. I am looking forward to getting to know each of my students and their families.
